This is from an interview conducted at last year’s Gospel Coalition conference that Matt Smethurst posted this morning. The interview by Matt Mellinger touched on the theme of the conference and it was followed up by a panel of RTS professors including myself, Miles Van Pelt, Mark Futato, and Derek Thomas. There was also a written piece on the subject (focusing on wisdom literature) posted to the site.
I appreciate TGC’s willingness to subject a topic like this to sustained discussion. They have spilled considerable html code on this exegetical issue, and they have included many authors and scholars who are producing some of the best material in their fields.
